Mui's Look : Kara - Nicole Damaged Lady MV Inspired Make Up

Hola ladies!

Today's post is about K-Pop Look! hooraaay!

Well I, and other 4 Indonesia Beauty Bloggers did a make up collaboration, and the make up is inspired by Kara from their new MV - Damaged Lady. Thanks to Rini, Gita, Xiao Vee, and Via who already invited me to do this make up collaboration. My make up look is inspired by Nicole - Kara, and I will try my best to do the tutorial here. Pardon me if it's still way too far from what is called PERFECTO!

If you don't know which girl band named Kara, let me show you the pic first. Below is Kara with glamorous, queen look style for their MV Damaged Lady. Nicole is the top-left one.

and this is our collaboration look

And this is my way to achieve Nicole's look (argh pardon my pale look)

you can apply any BB cream or foundation that you like. I used Aloe Sun BB Cream from The Skin Food. You can apply concealer after this step. And then don't forget to apply powder :) hehee sorry I forget to take picture with the powder T_T.

Next, contouring. I did the highlighting first. I used a pearl color eyeshadow roll on powder, from Japanese brand. Avoid shimmer color for the nose bridge if you don't want to be looked shiny.

What to highlight : center of the forehead, nose bridge, high point of the cheekbone , cupid bow, tip of the chin, smile line to lighten the crease.

And then followed by shading. I used eyeshadow from REVLON Colorstay In the Buff. Apply on nose side, jaw line, underside of the cheekbone, along the hairline. Blend it well with brush to reduce the appearance of the harsh line. (below pictur - middle : not blended well, 3rd picture : after blended).

For the eyeshadow, I choose Undress Me Too Eyeshadow palette from Makeup Academy. I only wore these 3 colors from the palette :

a = Shy

b = Reveal

c = Obsessed

First apply 'a' on all over of the eyelid, and then put 'b' at the inner v and outer v of the eyelid, blend it well with 'a'. You can add 'a' again on the middle of the eyelid to pop up the shiny look.Put 'c' on the outer v and blend it to the crease to create dimension.

I also apply 'a' to my lower eyelid.

After done with eyeshadow, don't forget to line your eyes with eyeliner. K pop look is identical with winged eyeliner. Sorry i forget to take the pic for the eyeliner, but you can check it here . Define the eyebrow with eyebrow pencil and you can fill the eyebrow with dark eyeshadow I choose the Obsessed again from the palette.

Don't be afraid to use false lashes, choose the natural one to create K-pop eyes.

K-pop lips = gradient lips! agree??

I used Revlon Superlustrous Lipstick in Paparazzi Pink (#455) and Oriflame Lip Impact Crayon in Deep Berry.

Smile first and the apply blush on on your cheekbones and blend it towards the hairline. I used Maybelline Cheeky Glow in Wooden Rose.

fiuh... I think it's done!

And now let's change the outfit, put the tiara on my hair, wear big earings! and voila! this is my look vs Nicole - Kara .

I flipped my picture horizontally in order to get the same angle with Nicole haha!

Keren amat kakaaak <3 mirip deh, kakak itu eyeshadow base nya pake apa ya? MUA paletteku ada beberapa warna yg kurang keluar soalnya kalo disapuin ke eyelids..
